25 miles out of Longboat Pass

Some new freinds invited me off shore all night long June 25th. Weather was perfect, 5 to 10 knots and diminishing til daybreak. They said,”small sizes but good numbers.” I got my best Mangrove and Lane and first Vermillion and Yellow Tail ever. I’m hooked on summer time all nighters! 20160626_054621Screenshot_2016-06-26-14-51-41

Evenings and mornings

20160512_195116One thing about evening fishing, little by little, people start to disappear as dark comes on and the bite picks up…usually. Daybreak tides are my fav. however, more and more people begin to show up as day comes on. Last night was a calm, cool, pre-frontal trip.
